BALTIMORE, MD (June 27, 2012) – St. John Properties, Inc. has selected William (Bill)
Russell for the new position of Director, Harrisburg Mall, a one million square foot regional retail project
situated in the Harrisburg East submarket of Pennsylvania. In a joint venture partnership with Petrie Ross
Ventures, St. John Properties recently acquired the property, which is located on Paxton Street off exit 45 of
Interstate 83. Mr. Russell was formerly Vice President of Property Management and Development for Hill
Management Services, Inc.

In his new role, Mr. Russell will oversee the comprehensive asset management functions for
Harrisburg Mall, which includes implementing major renovations and capital improvements to the regional mall
in an effort to re-position the asset. His other responsibilities involve managing day-to-day operations,
maintenance protocols and tenant and community relations; preparing and overseeing budgets; and negotiating
and supervising service contracts. Mr. Russell will also play an active role in identifying new tenant prospects for
Harrisburg Mall, as well as assisting with marketing and community outreach strategies.

Mr. Russell brings more than twenty-seven years of diversified property management and real
estate experience to St. John Properties, highlighted by his management of a 4.5 million square foot commercial
office, mixed-use and residential portfolio in Maryland and Pennsylvania. He also has extensive knowledge in the
areas of development, property disposition and leasing.

Harrisburg Mall has approximately 70 tenants, including Aeropostale, Bath & Body Works,
Champs Sports, Claire’s, Express, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, New York & Company, Radio Shack, Victoria’s
Secret and others. Free-standing Toys “R” Us and Applebee’s are also part of the tenant mix. One anchor store
location — previously occupied by Boscov’s until their corporate bankruptcy in 2008 — remains available for lease. Originally developed in 1969, the mall received a $60 million exterior and interior renovation approximately five years ago.

Mr. Russell Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Towson
State University with a concentration in Marketing and Personnel Management and is a licensed real estate agent
in the State of Maryland. He resides in Finksburg, Maryland.
